Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
1. The service
snapframe ("the service") renders web pages to screenshots, PDF documents, and Open Graph images via an HTTP API. You access it with a personal API key issued to you.
2. Plans and quotas
- Each plan includes a fixed number of renders per calendar month. One finished screenshot, PDF, or OG image counts as one render.
- Polling job status, downloading results, and checking usage do not count toward your quota.
- When your quota is exhausted, new renders are rejected until the quota resets or you upgrade. Existing files remain downloadable.
- Paid plans are provisioned manually after payment is confirmed. Refunds are handled case by case — contact us.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Render or distribute unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.
- Attempt to access non-public systems (our SSRF filters block private and internal addresses).
- Resell API access without written agreement, or share your API key publicly.
- Abuse the service (excessive polling, circumventing rate limits or quotas).
We may pause or revoke keys that violate these terms.
4. Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime or render speed. Result files are kept for 14 days and then deleted automatically.
5. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, snapframe is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.
6. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
